10 December 2013 - Can anybody tell me where the time has all gone? One minute it's October, next it's december and Christmas rapidly approaching.

31 October 2013 - 2 points from 3 away games. Not really good enough. A loss at Burnley - a dubious penalty at best and a perfectly good goal disallowed. Millwall getting a 92 minute equaliser & a very dull 0-0 at Wigan. Hopefully things will pick up this weekend.

26 October 2013 - In a departure from the usual input onto this site, I wish to pay homeage, tribute, memory of my late mother (or Mum as I knew her).

RIP Mum. 05 March 1929 - 26 October 2012

06 October 2013 - Charlie Austin carries on his good form with a brace against bottom club Barnsley to keep QPR in second place. Burnley, whom we visit at the end of the month, keep the lead by 4 goals on goal difference. Next up is Millwall "away".

One week to go and the Nix kick off their A League campagin at Westpac. Very excited about this coming season, can't wait to get back and see how ernie Merrick has transformed the team and of course how our new players go.

29 September 2013 - Joey Barton after 3 1/2 mins and a Charlie Austin penalty gave the hoops their great start a continuing presence. 7 clean sheets made Robert Green in goal, a new record holder. Well done to him & to Joey Barton, whom continues to show some form and is keeping himself out of trouble. Well done guys.

22 September 2013- A great start to the season and QPR rightly on top with 20 points. Charlie Austin is now scoring and as predicted by every QPR fan, Bobby Zamora is out yet again for the long term with a knee injury (There's also a back injury too) and Andy Johnson has also succumbed to injury. Harry is in desperate need to find a striker that can help Austin. Leon Best & Carlton Cole are to two names mentioned today in the "Mirror Online". Looks like we're in for a lot of 1-0 wins which of course is better than 1-0 losses.

The Phoenix and an All White select met today in a 1-1 draw in Rotorua as Ernie Merrick gets some warm up games under the teams belt and Ricki Herbert trials some All White players for the up coming World Cup play-off tie. Louie Fenton si out for 6 weeks with a dislocated shoulder which hasn't help either cause.

Welcome to the new look QPRFANZ website site. The changes are mostly cosmetic but I also hope to have some new material that you may enjoy. As per normal I resist adverts and sponsorships and again, you the viewer will not get bombarded with pop-ups, adverts and other annoying type activities.

I've gone for the Black/White & Silver/Chrome look for the most part. This is just me paying homeage to footballs past. Photos that appear will be in B&W to hopefully add to the atmosphere. Yeah, I know, Artsy, but then that has been something I have wanted to experiment with for some time.

However, you will see the picture below on every page and it will get you back to this home page.

I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do in bringing you the fixtures, results, pictures and of course my thoughts on QPR, The Wellington Phoenix & football in general - Andy.
